Infrastructure or equipment
Three key research facilities will be provided: a cloud cluster, a HPC cluster and a “mini” Virtual Research Environment (VRE) to be used as a research environment. The cloud cluster is an OpenStack based infrastructure. It has 248 cores and 17GB storage. The HPC cluster has 208 cores and 34 GB storage. The VRE will be based on JupiterHub technology and will be connected to the cloud and HPC clusters mentioned above. CPC also has a research lab that can accommodate up to 20 researchers. The lab workspaces are equipped with workstations and they are connected to the University infrastructure.
